Cape Cod Canal Bikeway One of the Cape’s best-kept secrets, the Cape Cod Canal trails stretch 14 miles along both sides of the canal, from Bourne to Sandwich. Flat and paved, it’s perfect for walking, running, or biking, and especially great for families with young children. You’ll ride alongside massive ships, fishermen, and even a few seals if you’re lucky. Sandwich Marina is a great pit stop, with ice cream shops, seafood shacks, and picnic spots. Whether you’re biking for the exercise, the scenery, or the chance to explore the Cape at a slower pace, these trails offer something special for every rider.
